The Beavers confirmed their place in the National League South for next season with a workmanlike 2-0 victory at Weston-Super-Mare which sadly relegated the Seagulls.
Hampton could have as big an effect on a club's season as they take on Truro City at the Jezzards Beveree this afternoon. They sit in 20th place in the division and will be hoping to get something from their game today as next week, they will face playoff outsiders Slough Town at Treyew Road.
The White Tigers' recent form will not be giving their supporters a lot of hope though, as they haven't won since early February and have only picked up another 4 points since then.
The Beavers though, have hit some good form recently with 3 straight wins and Gary will be hoping the team can continue that today and finish the season on a high.
The teams have faced each other 9 times before today. with 4 wins for Hampton, 1 for Truro and 4 draws. The first match between the teams was way back in 2011 at Treyew Road, when the match ended in a 3-3 draw, Josh Huggins, Dave Tarpey and Joel Ledgister scoring.
In the most recent meeting, back in September, the Beavers ran out 2-0 winners down at Torquay Utd's Plainmoor, before Truro moved back to Treyew Road, with Chris Dickson and Craig Dundas getting the goals that day. Match highlights from that game can be found here.
