Dowse has dipped into the market again...

The club are delighted to announce the signings of James Mulley and Shaun Jeffers to the club today.

29 year old midfielder James (seen here on the left) is signed on a permanent deal from Maidenhead Utd after being on loan at Wingate & Finchley.

Part of their title winning squad, James brings a lot of experience from this level, after making 90 appearances for the Magpies and then over 100 with his previous club, Braintree Town.

He's also had spells at AFC Wimbledon, and Hayes & Yeading Utd so is well familiar with this part of town.

25 year old striker Shaun is signed on loan until the end of the season from Boreham Wood; last season, he scored 21 times for Chelmsford City in this division, so he's familiar with the task ahead.

Shaun came through the Coventry City youth system and made 6 first team appearances for the Sky Blues in League One. He's also appeared for Peterborough Utd, Newport County and Yeovil Town before he made his move to the Clarets in 2016.

Back in 2010-11, he also made two appearances for the England under 19 team, unfortunately without managing to net a goal.

Both will be available for Saturday's game at Chippenham Town, subject to League approval for the deals on Friday.

Welcome to both of you!!
