The club is delighted to announce that Dean Inman has signed an 18 month extension to his contract with the Beavers, which will see him with the club until the end of the 2012-13 season.
After signing the extension Dean said "I'm happy about signing, I've been here since I was 16 and I see it as my kind of club, and I wouldn't want to go to another club."
Manager Mark Harper was more than happy. "Its great news for the club that a player like Dean has committed to the club for next year. He's shown great loyalty to the club by signing an extension to his current contract and we're really looking forward to working with him over the length of that deal."
Harps then described Dean as "the future of Hampton and Richmond Football Club and a great kid to work with."
He added "Dean has a fantastic attitude to the game. He's passionate and wears his heart on his sleeve at times, but he is also willing to listen and learn which is great from a coaching perspective."
Harps then suggested that Dean can go a long way in the game. "Dean has raised his profile over the last year with clubs like QPR, Crawley, Burnley and Hartlepool showing a key interest in him and with Dean already playing for QPR reserves, we hope it leads onto greater things for him and his family."
At the end, Dean made clear his fondness for the Beavers. "I love playing for the club, I'm only 21 and only about 13 games from my 100th appearance! I'm looking forward to making that and that'll be a special day for me at the club."
