HRBFC Youth - Weekend Round Up 8th Novermber

3 years ago By Stefan Rance

There was progression in the County Cup for both the Under 15s and Under 13s this past weekend....

The Under 15s had a relatively simple game to progress to the 4th Round of the Middlesex County Cup as they defeated Besssingby Park 5-0. There was a brace from Theo Clayton and goals from Joe Quincey, Kayden Archibald and Matt Morris. Their rewards is home tie against Ruislip Rangers on the 6th December. The Under 13s defeated a strong West Drayton side 4-2 at Kingsfield with goals coming from Jake Brown (2), Ellis Pringle and Josh Shayestah. They will travel to LNER Youth in the next round.

After a 2 week break the Under 9 teams started their first round of Trophy games and there was a fantastic win for the Under 9 Stags who defeated Bedfont Eagles 5-3 for their first win of the season. Star of the show was Louis Cazamage who scored a hat-trick, despite playing with a broken wrist. Dhruv Khanwalkar also scored for the side. The Under 9 Colts had a thrilling 3-3 draw with Esher, finding themselves 2-0 down they fought back with gaols from Ellis Sales-Bourne, Gabriel Mills and Cass Fried-Jones only for Esher to score a late equaliser. Finally, in this age group, the Under 9 Bucks drew 1-1 at Ashtead. The home side took the lead on a heavy pitch but an equaliser from Tommy Rance in the second half earned a share of the points.

At Under 11 the Youth side won 4-1 against CB Hounslow courtesy of a hat-trick from Suryaksh Tewatia and one from Ruben Doe. The Colt side unfortunately lost 12-0 to a very strong North Kingston Youth at Bushey Park. There were wins for both the Under 10 side, with the Youth winning 7-0 against Walton Casuals with goals shared around and the Colts defeated Rocks Lane 6-1 with Enzo Gibbins scoring 2 with others from Tyler Scott, Daniel Kubinskyy, Max Thompson and an own goal.

The Under 12 Youth drew 1-1 with Worcester Park with Aidan Rimmer scoring the sides goals, there were defeats for both the Under 14 sides as the Youth lost 3-1 to league leaders Hanworth Sports whilst the Colts went down 10-6 in a thriller at Ashford Town. The Under 13 Colts had a difficult day as they lost 17-2 at Sheerwater Youth.

There was more positive news in the Under 7 age group as the Colts won their first game in the highest development league 5-1 against Spelthorne Sports with a really composed performance and the Stags won 6-3 at Walton Casuals. At Under 8 the Bucks saw their game postponed but the Stags had a great 7-2 win in their game with Alfie Roberts getting 4 of the sides goals.
