The Beavers will go into this game with a new found confidence after back-to-back wins against Whitehawk and St Albans City extended their unbeaten run to nine games, the longest in the league.
The Romans are without a win in 4, but currently sit one place ahead of Hampton in 11th place. There’ll be hoping that the signing of defender Opi Edwards on loan from Bristol City will help galvanise them, whilst Marvin Morgan rejoining them after a short spell with the Beavers has bolstered their attack.
The Beavers will know what to expect from Morgan, who made four appearances for the club, and will be hopeful that they can keep them quiet on his return to the Beveree.
Hampton’s frontline has been subject to many changes this season, and with the announcement of Ryan Moss’ departure earlier this week, Bradley Hudson-Odoi will likely be favoured to lead the line once again.
Only one change was made for the win against St Albans City, with Taurean Roberts coming in to replace Kiernan who, it transpires, picked up a knock late on away to Whitehawk. Kiernan faced a fitness test on the day of the St Albans match which he failed, however still made the bench due to short numbers.
With Kiernan likely to be back in contention, he will certainly pose an interesting question to Dowse, as his performance away at Whitehawk was certainly a big positive of the day.
Kick off against Bath City is 3pm at the Beveree Stadium on Saturday 28th October. For more on our fixtures, head to our Calendar.
