A day at the seaside up next for the Beavers

1 year ago By HRBFC Press Team

Saturday afternoon will see Hampton take on Bognor Regis away from home in a bid to extend their amazing unbeaten run to 12 games.

The home side come into the game in poor form, having failed to win in their last six games.

The Beavers' form couldn't be much better as on top of their unbeaten run, Dowson's boys have racked up five wins on the spin in all competitions.

Tuesday's gritty (and wet) performance to claim the victory in dreadful conditions shows that the side can win ugly if required - an essential attribute in a successful side.

Having been rested on Tuesday Josh Casey, Michael Kamara and Bradley Hudson-Odoi all took full part in training in what is a big boost to the side.

Not such good news where Dan Sweeney is concerned, the on-loan midfielder didn't train at all tonight and Dowse informed me his chances were 50-50 for playing at the weekend. Fingers crossed.

The only other senior player not to take part was Leon Solomon who continues to be eased back into first team affairs after his long layoff.

The lads were in good spirits down at the Bev tonight, have a look at the twitter for some action from the session and a quick chat with Leon.

Confidence is high, and long may it continue.

See you on Saturday,

Come on you Beavers!
