Its all super at Weston for Beavers
The Beavers kept up their excellent away form with a 3-1 victory over Weston-super-Mare
Alan Dowson brought in loan signing Jack Taylor into midfield, Nathan Collier in the holding role, Kieran Murphy back in the centre of defence and Tom Jelley to right back.
The Beavers dominated the early possession without having much to show for it; the nearest chance being on 10 minutes with Murphy's header from a Brendan Kiernan cross which home keeper Luke Purnell parried under his bar before collecting the ball wide of the goal.
On the half hour, Hampton had the ball in the back of the Weston net from a Jelley corner, but the referee immediately adjudged that there had been a foul on the keeper and disallowed the score.
The Seagulls were by now starting to find their feet and they took the lead on 43 minutes. Bradley Ash was challenged in the box by Louis John and immediately went down for what the referee deemed to be a shirt pull, which seemed a harsh call.
Ash picked himself up to take the penalty which he slotted past Aaron Howe and into the corner of the net.
The lead didn't last as Jamal Lowe showed exactly why he's going to join Portsmouth as he took advantage of a ricochet off the referee to dash 40 yds as the defenders backed off. He nipped between them to curl a smart shot past Purnell literally seconds before the half time whistle, deep in added time.
The second half was lot closer a contest as both teams tried to pick the respective defences open.
For the Beavers, it took until the 66th minute for another clear chance to be created as Lowe got into the box to hit a shot which was only just wide of the post.
10 minutes later, it was the home teams turn to create a decent chance as Ash managed to spin in the box to have a shot that only just crept past the post.
With just 10 minutes to go, the Weston defence paid the price for momentarily sleeping as Nicke Kabamba broke through the centre of the defence to crack a neat finish under Purnell to give Hampton the lead.
The Seagulls tried to chase the game in search of the equaliser but they game was settled in the 2nd minute of added time as substitute Shaquille Hippolyte-Patrick managed to get a half yard of space ahead of the covering defender to slide the ball across goal and past the keeper into the net.
