Beavers nick a point from the Hill

Charlie Moone gets the equaliser, thanks to a referee's decision!
A contentious goal for the Beavers earned them a point in a game that was the classic game of two halves as Burgess Hill managed to miss a penalty through Chris Smith that would have given them the win.
The first half that was devoid of incident and action, save for one easy save for Hillians keeper Josh James from a Tom Jelley free kick, was soon forgotten as Burgess Hill opened the second half with an immediate goal from Smith. The Beavers looked to be back in the dressing room as Smith picked up a pass with back to goal. He turned Diarra and fired past keeper Seb Brown into the bottom corner.
This galvanised the Beavers and Nicke Kabamba brought a fine save from James on 61 minutes before the Beavers equalised shortly afterwards in contentious circumstances.
James made an acrobatic save from a Tom Jelley free kick, giving the Beavers a corner. The corner was cleared to Federico, who clipped over a cross, which was met by Charlie Moone at the back post with a simple header. The assistant immediately flagged for an infringement but after discussion with referee Paul Howard, the goal was allowed to stand, to the loud dismay of the visitors.
James defied Hampton again with a great save from Pacquette's header after Federico's cross but with 10 minutes to go, Burgess Hill had the gift-wrapped opportunity to take the points as a penalty was awarded for handball in the Hampton box.
Smith stepped up to take the kick but his kick was poor as it hit the post and flew out to Bolton, who struck the rebound with force but straight at Seb Brown who saved.
