Another point but could have been three for Beavers
The Beavers more than matched their opponents Bognor Regis but another defensive lapse let the Rocks escape with a point.
Most of the early possession and chances fell to Hampton as they looked to take the game to their playoff chasing visitors and Winterton had to throw himself to his left to tip wide Duncan Culley's attempt on 7 minutes, the striker having had made an energetic cross field run, he picked up the ball and took it to the left side of the box before firing in the shot across the keeper.
Three minutes later, James Richmond's cross from the right was flicked on by Charlie Moone, and the looping header had Winterton back pedalling to push the ball over the bar.
Bognor's only shot on target came from Jason Prior on 28 minutes but his header from the edge of the box was straight at Brown in the Beavers goal.
Duncan Culley was making himself a nuisance to the Rock defence, and just before the half hour, he went on a mazy dribble to the goal line, beating three defenders; however, in trying to cross the ball back into the box, it caught under his feet and Bognor were able to clear.
The second half was a little more even as Bognor, struggling under a lengthening injury list, managed to force their way back into the game.
After Charlie Oatway's snapshot was easily saved by Brown, the Beavers broke quickly forward and Charlie Moone ended up with the ball at his feet in the box, but his shot was blocked by Winterton and cleared.
With 25 minutes to go, the Beavers won a free kick halfway inside the Bognor half; Ryan Newman's cross reached Richmond at the back post, the ball bounced back into he centre where it ricocheted off Diarra for a goal kick.
A draw was once again looking on the cards for the Beavers, but with just 3 minutes left, Newman's free kick into the box ended up at Moussa Diarra's feet, he spun and fired home from close range in excellent style.
However, once again, the Beavers couldn't hold onto their advantage.
With injury time just beginning, a free kick was conceded out on the left. The free kick found Dan Sackman on a diagonal run across the box and his header beat Brown's diving attempt and flew just inside the post to give the Rocks a point that perhaps they didn't quite deserve.
