The best way to keep up to date with Hampton & Richmond Borough FC

Tricky Bank Holiday for Beavers

1 month ago By Rob Overfield

Will the goals start flying in for Hampton?

The Beavers face two tough matches within the space of 72 hours with a home match against Havant & Waterloovile tomorrow followed by a trip to Welling Utd on Monday.

Goals have been hard to come by for the team, just 4 in 7 1/2 hours of league football, and Dowse has moved to try and add something different upfront with the loan signing of Malachi Napa from Oxford Utd.

Defensively, the team have looked ok, but without the punch in the opposition third of the field, it's all counting for little and Dowse will be looking to improve that.

It's been over 4 years since we last played Havant and in the last match, played at West Leigh Park in 2012, the Beavers came away with a point, thanks to goals from Dave Tarpey and Tobi Alabi in a 2-2 draw.

Dowse is targeting wins this weekend, they will have to start as 17th place in the table isn't a place he likes to be.

It's a 3pm kick off at Beveree, £12 for adults, £7 for concessions, £3 for under 16s and under 5s free.

The match will be the feature National League South match on BT Sports Sunday evening highlight show, giving the team every incentive to step up...
