The Beavers begin their series of home preseason matches with the visit of National League side Boreham Wood to the Jezzards Beveree this Saturday.
The Wood, under manager Luke Garrard, managed to keep out of too much danger last season and finished 20th in the NL, but will, like all clubs, want to make a better showing next season and keep step 1 football at Meadow Park for as long as possible.
For the Beavers, their first couple of friendlies, against Harrow Borough and Spelthorne Sports, have given Gary McCann the kind of headaches all managers get at this time of the season.
A 2-1 defeat on Saturday was followed by a 4-0 victory and quite a few players made a strong case for getting a place on the Hampton squad for the coming season.
The tickets on Saturday will be £8 for adults, £5 for concessions and £2 for under 16s, and these ticket prices will be the same for ALL the friendlies played at the Jezzards Beveree this summer.
With a 3pm kickoff, it’s going to be a perfect day for you to come along and get a first glimpse of the possible new members of the squad for 2019-20.
