FRESH from his holiday, Gary has clinched the signing of the centre-half he’s been trailing for three years.
Jack Strange, 21, joins from Corinthian Casuals after spending his early years in the QPR Academy before playing briefly for Sutton United.
“He’s a commanding defender, who can also play the ball out from the back and he’s more than ready for the step-up to this level,” said Gary. “There was interest from other clubs, so we’re delighted to get him.”
Strange was a member of the Casuals team that won the Egri Erbstein Trophy in Budapest this summer.
