Return to Wealdstone - then it's Ipswich!

Tractor Boys after Middlesex Senior Cup

Ipswich Town will send side to the Beveree on Tuesday night in another exciting mid-season friendly – but first it’s a return to Wealdstone.

Beavers manager Alan Dowson is keen to keep his players ticking over with league fixtures limited at the moment.

What better way that welcoming the Championship Tractor Boys – the game kicks-off at 7.45pm on Tuesday.

Again, entry will be just £5 for adults. Kids go free as do all the club’s season ticket holders.

Dowse said: “It’s another feather in our cap. Ipswich bringing a side down is fantastic and we can’t wait to welcome what will be a very talented side to the club.

“After the success of the Tottenham game in the week we had to move fast but we are delighted.”

The manager confirmed the squad’s lick of paint is continuing as he looks to give Hampton the best chance possible of competing for honours for the rest of the season.

Tomorrow we head to Wealdstone for our Middlesex Senior Cup tie and fans won't forget our last tie there, pictured.

It was before Dowson's time but he added: “It’s a cup we have history in clearly. We want to go back to the scene of the club’s highest point last season and do it all again.

"We’re looking forward to what will be a demanding day at the Vale. Gordon always puts very good sides out so we will have to be on top of our game. ”
