Its the Beavers for Michael!

4 years ago By Rob Overfield

The club is delighted to announce the signing of 24 year old midfielder Michael Bryan, who spent last season with Hendon.

Paul and Darren's second signing of the day sees Michael Bryan join the Beavers.

Michael was born and brought up in Hayes, and came through the QPR youth system but was released at the age of 16 and joined Watford. He made his first team debut debut for the Hornets in August 2009, coming on a substitute away at Sheffield Utd in a 2-0 defeat.

During that season, he impressed enough to be called up for the full Northern Ireland squad, making two appearances; one as a substitute in a friendly vs Turkey in May 2010 then four days later, he started the match vs Chile.

In his time at Watford, he made 22 appearances in 3 years but went on loan to Bradford City in 2011 before leaving to join Brackley Town in 2012. He didn't make a start for Town but went on loan to Daventry Town before joining Conference North Corby Town during the 2012-13 season. This led to him joining Hendon at the start of last season and he made 34 appearances for the Greens.

We welcome him to the club!
