Alec and Chris walk to Dartford on Saturday to raise money for the Beavers

Hampton & Richmond Borough supporters Alec Barry and Chris Hurst are walking 29 miles from Hampton to Dartford on Saturday, 23rd March 2019, to raise funds for the Beavers' playing budget.

The idea started thanks to Alec Barry's big mouth. Alec declared that "If Hampton beat Oxford City by two goals I will walk to Dartford", believing this outcome to be highly unlikely.

Hampton won the game 5-3 so, true to his word, he is completing the task. He will be joined by Chris Hurst who just likes an adventure and says he doesn't have anything else to do on Saturday morning!

Alec and Chris will be leaving Beveree at 03.00 on Saturday morning for a 10 hour walk, planning to arrive into Dartford at 1pm.

Please donate to help us raise funds for Gary McCann's playing budget so that the walk actually achieves something! Many thanks.
