Beavers Add Duo To The Ranks For Next Season

By HRBFC Press Team

The Beavers add defender James Hammond and former winger Shaun Lucien to the squad, ahead of the 2018/19 season.

Gary McCann has added further players to his Beavers squad, with right-back James Hammond and winger Shaun Lucien added to the ranks.

James Hammond, who Gary McCann knows from the last two seasons at Hendon, began his career at Colchester United, before enjoying spells with Wealdstone and Concord Rangers. “James is someone I have dual registered from Maidenhead United on two separate occasions,” said Beavers manager McCann. “He’s come in at crucial periods and played his part – a solid and reliable performer.”

Also joining is winger Shaun Lucien, who Beavers fans will know from his previous stint with the club in the 2010/11 season. Shaun, who played for St. Alban’s City last season, has played for Concord Rangers, Harrow Borough and Uxbridge FC.

“Shaun is someone I’ve admired from afar for the last few years both at Wealdstone and also most recently St Albans City FC,” said Gary on his new winger. “He will bring pace, goals and work ethic. Shaun will very much suit the demands we’re putting on the squad for next season.”

Please join us in welcoming both players to the club ahead of our 2018/19 campaign.
