Ladies Thrash Rivals London All Stars

 On Sunday the Ladies team took on London All Stars at the Bev. After beating All Stars in the Semi-final of the Russell Cup last season we knew that they would come back fighting strong and as physical as last time. 

For the first 20 or so minutes the game was very tigh and end to end but we began to get on top of them and found ourselves up and dominating at the break. We came out fighting again in the second half and even with tired leggs we managed to dominate the game and ignore the verbal issues coming from the opponents toward the ref. Some great goals from Katie Foster (3) Jess Lamb (2), Immy Hillyard (1), Ana Rodrigez (1), April Riley (1) and some great saves from Emma Marlow in the second half ensured that the Beavers managed a comfortable home win. It was a great all round team performance with the back 4 of Lisa, Kim, Emily and Nic staying strong for the majority of the match.

This was another great home performance from the girls and they would like to thank eveyone that came to support the girls, it is a great feeling to get a home win in front of the fans.

Sunday 6th Nov the team face Petts Wood at home 2pm kick off.
