Reserves 5 v 1 Tooting & Mitcham

The Reserves continued their good run of form with a comfortable 5-1 victory over Tooting & Mitcham on Saturday.  The side should already have been ahead after misses by Duff, Moone and Bennett before Duff made amends for earlier misses by finishing well.  Callum Stewart doubled the lead with an excellent free kick before half time.  Straight after the break Duff got his 2nd after a good run and finish from the edge of the box.  Substitute Nico Coleman made it 4 before Tooting pulled one back after a sloppy period for the home side.  Charlie Moone finished the scoring with a good header from a Stewart corner.

Another good performance from the reserve side who in all honesty still need to be more clinical in front of goal as they create a good number of chances that are not taken every game.

The win moved the side up to 5th although the next game isnt until the 19th away at Farnborough although this could well be moved due to their 1st team being at home too that day.  The next confirmed fixture is on Saturday 29th October at home to Eastbourne Borough.
