Reserves 1 v 0 Sutton United

The reserves gained another good 1-0 win against top of the table Sutton United saturday. After weathering an early storm from Sutton, Hampton went on to control the game hitting the bar, having a goal disallowed and having a good penalty shout turned down before half time. The second half continued the same with Hampton dominating but unable to find the back of the net, another effort cleared off the line, some good defending from the visitors and poor finishing meant the game was all square with 5 minutes left. The winning goal came after excellent work by Simmonds before crossing for Josh Huggins to finish well on the volley from 8 yards.
