The reserves progressed to the last 8 of the Suburban League Cup with a 3-0 win over Leighton Town, completing a 6-0 aggregate win.
A sloppy first half performance where possession was given away cheaply and bad decisions in the final 3rd saw the game goalless.
3 Changes at the break made a difference with a renewed pace about the side they took the game to Leighton and dominated the half. Goals from Sousa Mota, Bloomfield and Antwi on his first appearance back from knee injury saw the side comfortably through to face Met Police in the quarter finals.
The young squad consisted of two 16 year olds, three 17 year olds, eight 18 year olds, one 19 year old and two over 20's which should stand the club in good stead for the future with a number looking like they will be pushing for first team football in the future.
