The reserves came away from 3rd placed Sutton with an excellent 4-1 victory. Everyone contibuted against a good side who in the 2nd half acheived what no other side has done against the Reserves this season and created more chances than Hampton in 45 minutes but found 16 year old Milan Stojsavlejevic in inspired form in the Hampton goal, including a penalty save early in the 2nd half to keep the score at 1-0. Hampton dominated the 1st half for large periods as the shot count of 11 to 4 in their favour showed but had to wait until the final minute for the breakthrough a quick corner from Gustavo Sousa Mota saw Jermiele Johnson turn his man and the power of the shot beating the keeper and man on the post. The 2nd half was a much closer affair, with Sutton looking very lively going forward with their 10 and 11 causing problems and only 2 great saves from Stojsavlejevic kept the scores level. He then saved the penalty which gave Hampton a boost and they then went on to fnish the game very much on top. A Joe Bennett double one after a Sousa Mota free kick was palmed onto the bar by the home keeper and a long range effort from Joe Turner saw the scoreline more comfortable than the game probably was.
