Hemel on the horizon

1 year ago By Rob Overfield

Still unbeaten after 3 games but step up will be needed tonight.

The Beavers go into tonight's match at Hemel Hempstead still unbeaten in the National League South and will be hoping to stretch that to 4 games.

Saturday's match against Eastbourne Borough could have been a comfortable win for the Beavers with the Sports playing a lot of the game with reduced numbers; two disallowed goals and Brendan's unfortunate penalty (and he'll be the first to admit he should have scored) left the team looking at just a point.

Hemel have made a good start to the season with two wins in their first 3 games, beating Whitehawk and Hungerford Town, and will be looking forward to tonight's challenge against the Beavers.

Charlie Wassmer will be back in contention for a place in the lineup and Dowse will be looking for a decisive performance at Vauxhall Road from every part of the team.

It's a 7-45pm kick off tonight, and the usual updates will be hopefully be available via the club's twitter feed, @hrbfc, from about 7-30.
