NEW Academy Trial Date

6 months ago By Ian Dyer

A chance to impress the new Academy Manager...

New Academy Manager Ian Dyer has announced there will be a further Academy Trial taking place on Tuesday 29th August from 11am-1pm.

The Academy is looking to recruit talented footballers to join our 2 year Football and Education programme.
The players will train full time with UEFA A & B License coaches, and study for a BTEC Level 3 Sport Diploma (which after 2 years is equivalent to 3 A Levels).

This season the Academy will compete in both the U18 Bostik Youth League, and the National League U19 Alliance.

The Academy is looking for recent Year 11 school leavers, or 17-year- olds who qualify as first year scholars.

Ian Dyer said "This is an exciting time for the football club, and an exciting new season for our Academy programme. First and foremost we are looking for players who are passionate about developing their football skills, and dedicated on progressing to the next level. We also want players who are committed to studying for a possible future career in Sport away from the pitch."

Dyer added "Our aim is to provide a class first environment for the players to progress in both their football careers, and also academically."

Players interested in attending the trial date, or being a part of the Academy programme for the 2017/18 season should contact Ian Dyer on 07753 260534 or email
