New Signing

The club is delighted to announce the signing of former Barnet, Millwall and Leeds United striker Tresor Kandol, subject to international clearance from the FA being received, if required.
Speaking yesterday, chairman Steve McPherson said, "When (manager) Mark (Harper) came to me three weeks ago requesting extra firepower to support Charlie Moone, I didn't expect to be signing such players as Tresor and Joel Ledgister! This will be a massive boost to the club, and shows exactly the direction we're aiming for, which is promotion back to the Blue Square South."
He added, "This will rank as one of the Hampton & Richmond Borough FC's biggest signings in its entire history. Tresor knows how to score goals, and we’ve no doubt he will score plenty."
Tresor comes to Beveree after a spell out of the game, after a proposed move to Plymouth Argyle last year fell through.
After trying to break through into the Luton Town first team, Tresor ended up at fellow Ryman Premier league club Thurrock, where he demonstrated his goalscoring ability, scoring 79 goals in 110 games. This form earned him a move to Barnet, and, after another blistering start to the start of the 2006-07 season – 18 goals in 21 games – he ended up on loan to Leeds Utd, with the deal being made permanent the following January.
Two seasons later, after helping Leeds reach the League One playoffs, he went out on loan – with Milwall and Charlton - and in August 2010 he left the club with the mutual consent of the Elland Road club. He then chose to try his luck with Albacete Balompie in the Spanish Segunda Division in September 2010, but was forced by injury to leave the club two months later.
We welcome Tresor to the club!
