ONE-TIME Aston Villa target Mo Harkin is now on Hampton & Richmond Borough's shopping list - as long as he can prove his fitness.
Harkin was reportedly subject of an £800,000 bid by the Villains while a youngster at Wycombe, but the move was scuppered by injury.
Instead, he moved to Carlisle and Aldershot before moving into the non-league game with Nuneaton, Crawley, Forest Green, Lewes, Havant & Waterlooville, Eastbourne, Farnborough, Walton & Hersham, Kingstonian and Egham.
And the former Northern Ireland U21 international midfielder is now on trial with Hampton, but must show boss Mark Harper his injury problems are behind him.
Harper said: "Mo rang me a few weeks ago looking for somewhere to train, and I have got him involved where I can.
"He wants regular football but needs to get his levels of fitness up, and to be fair, there are other lads in front of him at the moment in his position.
"However, he has done really well for us so far, and his attitude is spot on, but we will have to see what we can offer and what he is looking for."
