FORMER West Ham United trainee Joe Benjamin has been snapped up by Hampton & Richmond Borough.
The striker, who did not play a first team game for the Hammers but played a handful in the Football League form Northampton, was this week signed by Beavers boss Mark Harper.
Benjamin is no stranger to the non-league scene, having also worn the colours of Ebbsfleet, Boreham Wood, AFC Hornchurch, Wealdstone, Chelmsford, Tonbridge Angels and Carshalton Athletic.
Harper hopes the 21 year old will help fill the void left by Joel Ledgister's departure to Chelmsford last month.
He said: “Joe also did well up front in our friendly against Godalming last Saturday, and is another who can play on the wing too, like Elliott Bent, and so gives us options."
